Description
Plaid que j’ai appelé « Kitty » est un véritable patchwork composé des 3 épaisseurs de rigueur et matelassé. Il est inspiré du modèle de Lucy Engels (« Naive Melody ». Il peut aussi servir de jeté de canapé ou de panneau mural.
Le dessus est un assemblage de tissus 100% coton. Des formes géométriques sont appliquées au point zig-zag sur un assortiment de 100 carrés de tissu faux-unis aux couleur de l’arc-en-ciel fractionné parfois de tissu noir et blanc.
Le molleton est 100% coton, ce qui offre souplesse, confort et chaleur.
Le dos est aussi en tissu de coton. L’ étiquette traditionnelle de signature y est cousue ainsi que des coins permettant de placer une barre d’accrochage en cas d’utilisation en panneau mural.
Le matelassage des 3 épaisseurs est assuré par le motif « topographie » qui apporte du mouvement à l’ouvrage (photo n°3).

Lavable en machine à 30/40°.

Plaid that I called « Kitty » is a real patchwork composed of 3 layers of rigor and quilted. It is inspired by the Lucy Engels model (« Naive Melody ». It can also be used as a sofa throw or a wall panel.
The top is an assembly of 100% cotton fabrics. Geometric shapes are applied with a zig-zag stitch on an assortment of 100 semi-plain fabric squares in the colors of the rainbow, sometimes split into black and white fabric.
The fleece is 100% cotton, which offers flexibility, comfort and warmth.
The back is also made of cotton fabric. The traditional signature label is sewn there as well as corners allowing to place a hanging bar in case of use as a wall panel.
The quilting of the 3 layers is ensured by the « topography » pattern which brings movement to the work (photo n°3).
